With harvest in full swing and Christmas looming it can get pretty hectic so it is great to see that our staff can find time for a bit of friendly inter-branch competition.
For the past four years our branches have been challenged to create the ‘best’ Christmas display. The winner of the Pringles Crouch Best Christmas display receives a perpetual trophy and a cash prize for a branch social event. However, with several of our branches also competing in locally run town competitions it is not about the money. There is quite a bit of pride at stake and a keen desire to be voted the winner.
Photos of each branch display are loaded onto our facebook page for the general public to vote on generating a flurry of photo-sharing by staff to assist with building their vote count. This year Wudinna were able to wrest the trophy from three time winners Crystal Brook by the smallest of margins.
Voters weren’t left out and were in the running for a John Deere gift hamper valued at $100, which was won by Helen Lehmann of Caltowie. Due to the huge response we were pleased to offer 5 consolation prizes of a John Deere wine bag and Pringles Crouch cap which went to Chris Linke of Nuriootpa, Nicole Jared of Crystal Brook, Grant & Pam Allen of Wudinna, Belinda Jutzen of Cummins and Helen Lee of Cleve.
Christmas might be over for 2016, but harvest is still underway in many areas so we hope that your harvest is going well and we wish you a happy and prosperous 2017.
