John Deere recently announced a significant increase in the warranty periods for its Ag and Turf equipment parts, retroactive to parts sold after Nov. 1, 2016. The new warranty terms apply to dealer-installed John Deere original equipment manufactured (OEM) parts and labour, as well as customer-installed John Deere OEM parts for the company’s Ag and Turf lines of equipment.
All John Deere OEM Turf equipment parts, regardless of whether they are dealer installed or non-dealer/customer installed, now carry 6 months/unlimited hours coverage. In addition labour is covered for dealer-installed parts. A parts invoice is required as part of the warranty process.
Have your agricultural machinery repairs carried out at our dealership by our qualified and experienced technicians and your OEM parts will be covered for 12 months/unlimited hours for both parts and labour. For parts not installed by an authorised John Deere dealer your warranty is reduced 6 months/unlimited hours of coverage after purchase.
Seasonal start-date deferrals also apply to some categories of machinery. This means that harvesters, for example, can have parts fitted at any time throughout the year by Pringles Crouch with the warranty start date aligning with the seasonal use of the machine not the date of fitment. Ask your service department for more information about eligibility.
John Deere parts warranty really does offer you peace of mind,
There a few exceptions to the new warranty terms, such as Reman products and those parts covered by a supplier warranty. Customers should see their local Pringles Crouch branch for complete warranty details or refer to the John Deere Warranty Statement.
