Planning for a successful seeding season

Planning for a successful seeding season

Be ready when the rain falls

Summer rains across most of our season have built up good sub-soil moisture which is a positive the coming season. However, the rains have also made farmers busier than usual at this time of year, putting aside the pre-season planning that normally happens now.

We have been working closely with John Deere and our other major suppliers to mitigate the ongoing logistics and supply issues that were initially impacted by Covid. We continue to experience intermittent issues on some parts and accessories. In most cases we can find a solution or alternative to meet immediate needs.

Air seeder hose in stock now

Arriving at all of our branches this month is stock of PVC air-seeder hose in our most regularly requested sizes from 25.8mm ID to 75mm ID in clear, black, green and red. We’ve also got 32mm LDPE tubing. If you have a specific requirement outside of this stock we are happy to work with you to source what you need. Contact your local branch to secure your hose while stock lasts.

Inspect Every Deere

Our inspection programs are always open. A comprehensive inspection of your tractor or sprayer can help identify possible issues, so you can develop a preventative maintenance program for your fleet. If you haven’t scheduled your pre-season inspection and repair now is a great time to talk to our service staff.

Get your seeding parts ordered today

We still strongly encourage our customers to plan ahead.

Consider an early order for wearing parts that have not yet reached peak demand levels while stock is more easily sourced. We also suggest reviewing the parts that are likely to cause significant delays if they fail.

Look up your John Deere parts by model or serial number, or touch base with your closest Pringles Crouch parts department and place your seeding parts order today.
