Students gain insight into farming

Students from Gladstone St Josephs Parish School visited our Crystal Brook branch earlier this month. The visit was part of the school’s electives program. This program encourages students to build knowledge and skills in a range of hobbies and industries.

A representative from the school said: “This experience provided students with an insight into farming as well as the opportunity to develop their awareness and perception of farming machinery and their respective functions.”

Students were shown the workshop before being allowed to climb up into a couple of tractors – a highlight of the visit for many. The excursion sparked some fantastic curiosity into the farming industry.

The students were extremely grateful for their learning opportunities and extended a thank you to Nick and Jason for providing this enriching learning experience. And we are always happy to see young people interested in the farming industry.
